I Pledge A Meanness
I pledge a meanness to the man
Who schemes and conspires for power
But oh how the mighty do fall
From grace to perdition
From faith to sedition
With lust and dishonor for all
The Granola Poet finds inspiration in the weekly themes of Found Art Tuesday and the world around him. He writes Limericks and leaves them in granola boxes in grocery stores. People who buy the granola will find his Limerick when they open the box.
The rest of the week — Wednesday thru Monday — the Granola Poet searches the world and scours his mind for immediate inspiration.
I pledge a meanness to the man
Who schemes and conspires for power
But oh how the mighty do fall
From grace to perdition
From faith to sedition
With lust and dishonor for all
